Our Partnered Services

We are both a mobile and remote Reiki and animal communication practice. We can come to your home, place of business, et cetera, or we also offer remote/distance sessions.

As opposed to going to a vet clinic or another stressful-unfamiliar location, the in-home experience promotes a better session for most pets (and people) as they are more comfortable at home and in their own environments. We offer Reiki and communication services to all species, primarily seeing dogs, cats, horses, and the humans who love them.

Our travel area includes Kent, Renton, Maple Valley, Auburn, Enumclaw, Federal Way, Tukwila, Burien, and some other surrounding areas.

Out of area travel (more than thirty minutes of travel time) may be arranged depending on distance and an associated travel fee will be applied.

Our Partnered Services

We are so happy to offer combined services with a local mobile Veterinarian, Dr. Amanda Wohlwend, owner of Sound Animal Wellness. She focuses on Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine, including acupuncture and herbs, along with some holistic wellness care. Together we provide services for dogs, cats, and horses and our services vary depending on species.

Some services include wellness care for dogs and cats, medical and intuitive consults, MagnaWave therapy (Pulsed Electromagnetic Frequency Therapy), laser therapy, Reiki with other treatments, hospice care, and at home euthanasia.

COVID-19 Precautions

With increased safety concerns, we are happy to offer distance Reiki and communication sessions via the phone. Sessions can also be done without your active participation and afterwards you will be provided with detailed notes via email for your or your pet's session.

Outside of COVID times, distance sessions are always available for those friends whom are outside of our travel area.

If in-person visits are the best fit for you, rest assured all precautions will be taken to keep everyone safe. These include face masks, social distancing, and frequent hand sanitization. We do ask that you notify us if there has been any illness in the home prior to us arriving for an appointment.

Reiki and Crystal Energy Sessions

Depending on the patient being treated (human or animal) and the practitioner, the Reiki session may appear different from other experiences you've had previously. As no two sessions are the same, and all beings are inherently unique, Kendra will approach them from different perspectives based on intuitive guidance from her spiritual team

Reiki sessions may be scheduled in person if you are within our travel radius or distance sessions may be arranged as well.

At this time, we do not have a physical space to hold sessions although we hope to eventually. If you do not feel comfortable having the session in your home, safe place or work place, remote sessions would best fit your needs.

Unfortunately as most humans and animals communicate differently, we don't always hear what we are meant to hear. Or see, for that matter. All beings communicate differently but most are able to send images telepathically. This is where our communication begins; the energetic transfer of images, words, and feelings from one being to another.

Most Animal Communication sessions will be incorporated with a Reiki Session for the pet's highest good. As Reiki is passed through Kendra to the recipient, insights from your life together will start to come through. Some issues commonly discussed are anxieties, questions about emotional and physical health, changes in home life, and transition after this life. If you do not wish to have these services together, they can be performed separately as Kendra's communication abilities come with or without the wonderful addition of Reiki.

Reiki is an ancient energy healing modality that uses Universal Life force energy to promote well-being, healing, and physical-emotional-spiritual balance.

Dr. Mikao Usui, a Japanese monk, redeveloped Reiki in the early 1900’s, although originally the healing art is much older. The word Reiki translates to “Universal Energy”. Rei means “universal”, meaning it is everywhere and in everything. Ki is life force energy; a non physical energy that animates all living beings. Ki is also the primary energy of our thoughts, emotions, and spirituality. Reiki is Source energy flowing through the practitioner and into the recipient. The recipient may be any form of life, from a human, a pet, a flower, or even a rock.

Reiki’s purpose is to promote healing and balance on three levels (physical, emotional, and spiritual) by changing the vibration of stagnant areas of energy. These areas left untreated can lead to dis-ease and illness. Reiki is always directed where it’s needed most, according to the patient’s individual needs, and it clears blockages and allows healing to take place. Reiki can do no harm and always flows at the highest level for the patient’s highest good.

Humans have 7 primary chakras (or energy centers) and a multitude of small bud chakras. Centers that are not in alignment can create unbalance and lead to greater illness being manifested in our physical bodies.

Reiki can be summed up best by Dr. Usui himself, “Reiki is love, love is wholeness. Wholeness is balance. Balance is well-being. Well-being is freedom from disease. Remember these words, they represent what Reiki is.”

About Kendra

Kendra Mack is a Washingtonian transplant with a lifelong passion for animals and a natural gift of communicating with them. She has been in the veterinary field since 2003 and has volunteered with large and small exotic animals (lions, tigers, and Fennec foxes, oh my). Having over 20 years of professional experience with animals and over thirty years privately, she has cared for all types of species during her life (and is always looking for more animal friends to meet).

In 2008, she began officially communicating with her own animal crew after working with a mentor. She was immediately enthralled with the results, seeing firsthand how one can deepen the bond with our animal companions, enhancing both the relationship and quality of life through more focused care.

Needing a change from Western-only veterinary medicine, August 2012 brought Reiki into Kendra’s life. She quickly discovered (and ran down) the path to becoming a Reiki Master, completing all three levels by October of that year. Since becoming attuned, she has continued to grow her special gift of communication while providing healing Reiki energy during sessions. She utilizes crystals, flower essences, and sometimes dowsing during sessions depending on the recipient. She sees a variety of patients, most typically dogs, cats, horses, birds, and some pocket pets.

Sound Animal Wellness is a mobile veterinary practice owned by Dr. Amanda Wohlwend. We have partnered together to expand our services that we can offer our community and we are currently seeing dogs, cats, and horses.
